#### URL Expired

The URL for this request expired after 30 days.

This endpoint creates a company to manage payroll under as a [Company Object](https://docs.zeal.com/reference/the-company-object). Once the company is created successfully, you can see the company in your Partner Dashboard.

> **Note:** The company will still need to be onboarded in order to run payroll. See [Zeal Company Onboarding](https://docs.zeal.com/reference/get-company-onboarding-link) for the Zeal onboarding flow.

### Required Fields

- **partnerID**: string (required) - Your Partner ID (found in the API page of your Admin portal)
- **first_name**: string (required) - First name of business owner or administrator.
- **last_name**: string (required) - Last name of business owner or administrator.
- **email**: string (required) - Email address of business.
- **business_name**: string (required) - Legal name of business.
- **business_ein**: string (required) - Federal EIN of business.
- **business_address**: string (required) - Street address component of business address
- **business_city**: string (required) - City component of business address
- **business_state**: string (required) - State component of business address
- **business_zip**: string (required) - Zip code component of business address
- **business_phone**: string (required) - Phone number of business
- **mail_address**: string (required) - Mailing address of company
- **mail_city**: string (required) - Mailing city of company
- **mail_state**: string (required) - Mailing state of company
- **mail_zip**: string (required) - Mailing ZIP code of company
- **ssn**: string (required) - SSN of the primary business owner.
- **ownership_percentage**: int32 (required) - The ownership percentage held by the primary business owner.
- **legal_structure**: string (enum) (required) - The legal structure of the business.

### Optional Fields

- **skip_migration**: boolean - Defaults to false. If true, Zeal will skip migrating payroll information from the company's old payroll provider. **Note: please confirm with the company that migration is not necessary. Failure to migrate old records may impact tax reporting and filing.**
- **job_title**: string - The job title of the primary business owner.
- **company_type**: string (enum) - Mark your company as "all" (employees and contractors) or "contractor_only" to limit company's scope to 1099 contractors.
- **dob**: string (required) - Date of birth of the primary business owner. This should be in the `MM/DD/YYYY` format
- **address**: string (required) - Address of the primary business owner.
- **address_line2**: string - Address line 2 of the primary business owner.
- **city**: string (required) - City of the primary business owner.
- **state**: string (required) - State of the primary business owner.
- **zip**: string (required) - Zip code of the primary business owner.
- **payroll_schedule**: string (enum) - The default payroll schedule that the company follows
- **payroll_firstCheckDate**: string - The ISO-8601 date of the first regular payroll
- **payroll_firstPayPeriodID**: string - Reporting period ID of the first regular payroll
